Pat and Jan grew up in the Coal Fields of Southern West Virginia. High School sweethearts who have been married 45 years. Two weeks after marriage they moved to Massachusetts and began their ministry. They spent 9 years there as Youth Pastors and Pastors, in Southern New England. In 1989 they became State Youth Directors and served in that role for 27 years, in 7 states. In 2016 they became State Overseers, and were appointed to Alaska, followed by Pacific Northwest and now serve California/Nevada.
They have to sons, Zachary and Joshua, and two beautiful granddaughters, Penny & Fiona.
Jason Bonilla, Youth & Discipleship Director
Thais Bonilla, Girls Ministries Coordinator
With over 30 years of ministry experience, Bishop Jason and Thais Bonilla share a passion for strengthening the local church, developing leaders, and reaching the next generation for Jesus Christ. Throughout their ministry journey, they have served in Children's, Youth, Family, and Outreach Ministries, as well as Associate, Campus, and Executive Pastoral leadership. These experiences have shaped their heart for serving pastors, equipping ministry leaders, and building strong, healthy ministries.
Jason has served on State Youth Boards and committees in Florida and Tennessee. Known for his creativity, dynamic communication, and engaging illustrations, he is passionate about inspiring and equipping young people to discover their God-given purpose and live out their faith.
Married for over 32 years, Jason and Thais are the proud parents of four children: Elijah, Jayliene, Josiah, and Jocelynn. Together, they understand the importance of family, relationships, and intentional discipleship in developing a faith that lasts for generations.

Our heartbeat is to see children, youth, and young adults develop a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ, grow in their faith, and discover their God-given purpose. We believe God is raising up a generation hungry for His presence, grounded in His Word, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and ready to impact the world for Jesus Christ. We are excited about what God has in store for California and Nevada. The greatest days are ahead, and we are better together!

Diego Campos
Multicultural Ministries Coordinator
Diego and Ana Maria Campos, together with their children Samuel and Sofia, are Missionary Pastors from Colombia. Throughout more than 20 years they have served the Church of God denomination and different social projects in Colombia and now, in the United States. Diego is an Ordained Minister from the Church of God and has a Bachelor's degree in Philology and Languages. Nowadays, he is serving as the Lead Pastor of the Poplar Church of God and as the Multicultural Ministries Coordinator for California and Nevada. Ana Maria serves along with her husband in the Poplar Church of God as Children and Family Pastor. She has a Bachelor's degree in Children Development and Education. Samuel and Sofia are both high school students. Committed with God and the people around them, they love to serve the community and their goal is to make a difference in every place they are.
Johnny Taylor, Ministerial Development Director
Johnny Taylor is an authentic leader who is passionate about helping people to discover, develop, and deploy their skills, talents, gifts, and callings for the sake of Jesus and His mission. He believes that disciples who make disciples is the heart of a healthy, strong, multiplying church.
Johnny is currently serving as Lead Pastor of Life Cathedral Church of God in Fresno California and the Ministerial Development Director of the Churches of God in California-Nevada Region. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Intercultural Studies- Urban Missions, from Patten University. Along with his wife, Lisa Taylor, he has three wonderful daughters and five grandchildren.
Dr. Mark A. Taylor, Ministerial Care Director
Mark Taylor is a compassionate and empathetic leader dedicated to helping leaders achieve holistic health so they can empower, enrich, and inspire others to develop healthy and holy habits. Through soul-care mentoring and therapeutic support, Mark provides guidance and encouragement to nurture personal and spiritual well-being in those he serves.
Mark serves as the Lead Pastor of Thrive Church (Church of God) in Visalia, California, and as the Ministerial Care Director for the Churches of God in the California-Nevada Region. His academic journey includes an Associate of Science in Human Services from the College of the Sequoias, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Brandman University, dual Master’s degrees in Clinical & Mental Health Counseling and Discipleship & Ministry Leadership, and a Doctor of Ministry in Clinical Mental Health, specializing in ministerial trauma. Mark and his wife, Christy, are both faculty members at Patten University, where they are dedicated to equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and spiritual insight necessary for impactful ministry and community leadership. Together, they minister under God’s anointing, sharing their life experiences and challenges to inspire and connect with those they serve.
